For the past three months team leader Bryan Hindle has had more on his mind than woodworm, wall tie corrosion and rising damp. He’s been training hard for the 100 mile cycling event – The Prudential London Surrey 100. His target was to raise ?600 for The Samaritans. To date the pot stands at just over ?1200 so Bryan and The Samaritans are delighted.

It was all smiles at the National Space Centre when Brick-Tie Preservation was announced as the winners of the Property Care Association award for training and staff development.
The PCA is the only recognised trade body for damp proofing, timber treatment and wall tie specialists; setting standards, writing codes of practice and supervising the cream of the industry.

Thursday was the day for dedicated PCA members to meet up for a series of meetings and presentations given by the PCA and members.
This type of behind the scenes work is crucial for Brick Tie Preservation, in order to maintain high standards for consumers. Briefings included a section on Basement waterproofing insurance, so that PCA members’ customers are protected in the event of problems after the waterproofing work has been completed.
