Damp Proofing Services Leeds and Yorkshire

Damp Proofing

Technician Stuart Lattimer, is injecting a diffusible cream damp-proof material into a damp brick wall. This material has a British Board of Agrément accreditation and Stuart is certificated for installation via The Institute of Wood Preservation and Damp-proofing.

There are several effective methods to control Rising Damp. BT Preservation’s surveyors and technicians are well trained and experienced in the two most useful and proven methods:

  • Chemical diffusion – suitable for a variety of wall constructions, particularly brickwork
  • Mortar injection - a wide range of uses, but most commonly applied to stone masonry

We install Safeguard Dryzone, which is the best diffusion cream system, and we find Injection Mortar, ideal for rubble walls - both systems have independent accreditation via the British Board of Agrément. But remember - any product is only as good as the installer.
